2025 Business of the Year
PFD's 2025 Business of the Year is PAWS Veterinary Center. Dr. Hefter and his wife Alana provide medical care to our therapy support dogs. Their compassion to cats & dogs of all sizes, and their dedication to being part of our community reflects in everything they do. PAWS Veterinary Center allows our behavioral support team to care for our fire and rescue personnel as we provide our services to Plantation's residents and visitors.

Under Dr. Blake Hefter's leadership, PAWS Veterinary delivers comprehensive veterinary services to our peer support therapy dogs, while ensuring that every aspect of the facility supports animal well-being. PAWS provides excellent healthcare services to PFD's peer support therapy dogs, and we are happy to have them as partners.
