The Plantation Fire Department proudly recognizes Candy Coleman as its 2025 Member of the Year.  This award honors her exceptional dedication, professionalism, and service to Plantation.  Candy honed her leadership and communication skills as the branch manager of a local bank following 30 years in the industry.  She also served on the Greater Plantation Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Candy serves on Plantation CERT as the Recruitment & Membership Coordinator. She relentlessly initiates contact with potential CERT recruits and guides them through the onboarding process.  Candy has volunteered many hours to our team whether providing leadership for our CERT crews at our many city events, supporting firefighter rehab at department training, or offering guidance at CERT administrative meetings.
